The 0% Equity Covenant
Sphinx LaunchPad Studio takes no ownership of anything you build. Not your code, not your idea, not your company. This page states that commitment plainly. It is a summary of Section 7.01 of the Student Enrollment Agreement, which is the binding version.
What you keep
- 100% ownership of your source code, web applications, and database schemas
- 100% ownership of your product idea, business name, branding, and logos
- 100% ownership of your pitch decks, business canvas, and trade secrets
- Full freedom to commercialise, raise funding, or sell your startup, with no permission or notice required from us
What Sphinxhire takes
- 0% equity
- 0% intellectual property ownership
- 0% revenue share
- 0% royalty
- 0% board seats or control rights
This applies to everything you create during the cohort and everything you build afterwards. Enrolling in LaunchPad Studio is the purchase of an educational program — it is not an investment, and it gives us no stake in your business.
Two things this covenant does not cover. First, the Company’s own teaching materials, curriculum, reference book, templates, and software tools remain the Company’s property, as set out in Section 7.02 of the Student Enrollment Agreement. Second, this page is a plain-language summary; where anything here differs from the Student Enrollment Agreement, that Agreement prevails.
